Advertising

Gone Raw is the premiere community for raw vegans, ranging in experience from enthusiast to beginner. Started in November of 2006, the site has grown every single month, in both participation and membership.

For the month of February, 2008, Gone Raw had more than 110,000 visits and over a million page views. The site currently hosts over 2000 user-contributed recipes, and over 4000 unique discussion topics. And with more features on the way, we’re getting better all the time.

We hope you will consider supporting Gone Raw by advertising with us, and sharing your products and services with our friendly and unique community.

Advertising Policies

In order to advertise on Gone Raw, your ad must be for a product that would appeal to the site’s membership. That means we won’t accept ads for a barbecue grill or a fish fryer! We also don’t accept animated ads, because we feel that distracts from the content of the website.

There are three advertising sections available each month on the website. In essence, buying a month on Gone Raw gives you a showing on a large percentage of all the pages viewed for that month. And while your ad is showing on the home page, there won’t be Google or other third-party ads diluting your exposure. Yours is the only ad on that page.

There may be several ads in the sidebar of the Forum and Recipes sections, but in the event of multiple ads, the order will be chosen at random, each time a page is viewed. This is to ensure that all ads are equally visible. However, if we have any paid sponsors for the month, no other (Google) ads will be shown.

Ad Sizes and Pricing

There are three sections in which you can have your ad shown: the home page, all pages of the Recipes section, or all pages of the Forums. Take your pick.

Home Page Ad – One ad above the fold (visible without scrolling down) on the home page.

Recipes or Forums – Runs on the side of all recipes or forums page (your pick).
