My husband says ‘[She] is a certifiable health nut—one of these days she might even do the paperwork to prove it. She will tell anyone who will listen to her what she’s learned recently about nutrition and healthy living. She is an active member of the health ministry team at her church. She also spends a lot of time on Gone Raw and salivating at pictures of amazing raw dishes depicted here and on other websites.’
I was introduced to raw foods in 2004. I was amazed at the results and read several books on raw foods, nutrition, and lifestyle. I’ve always been “into” health. My husband is wonderful; he loves to eat simple raw foods and enjoys trying out my gourmet raw foods. Together we have been teaching raw food classes since summer 2007. On our travels, we always search for raw food restaurants or we travel just to visit one. We’ve been to Organic Garden (MA), Loving Life (PA), Alchemy Juice Bar (CT), Cafe Luna (PA), Grass Roots (FL), Karyn’s (IL), Cousin’s (IL), The Web of Life (OH), and Laughing Seed (NC) serves one raw dish. Soon, we will visit one in Hawaii. We plan to visit Grezzo, Quintessance, Raw Food Real World, and any others.
