Hi, I'm Lynne. I tried raw veganism in the spring of 2008 but only sticked with it for 3 months. The only way I could keep the diet interesting was to make the "gourmet" raw recipes on this site. But what put me off was the involved prep-work and clean up afterwards. I found myself reverting back to 100% SAD by summer of 2008. It's so much easier and less time-consuming to just have a buttered bagel or sandwich. I've gained back all of the 27 lbs. I'd lost being raw and all my aches and pains are also back. Yesterday (10/31/09) I went to Whole Foods and bought a slew of greens and other ingredients to get back on the raw diet again. I just hope this time I can stick with it! I need to lose this horrid belly fat! HELP!!!
