Personal Information
It has been a month since I have gone raw. I was raised a pescetarian even though we rarely had seafood. I was more of a vegetarian. The one thing I love about being from the islands is the food is fresh and it’s cheap to get coconuts, pineapples, mangos etc. All you have to do to get the fruit is get someone to get it off the tree for you. Even the poorest people had a fruit tree.
I have always researched foods and looked up information on benefits and I decided to make the decision to be 100% raw food vegan. I have been researching a lot about raw foods to see what is or is not considered raw and it is amazing how many products are labeled raw but they aren’t. For example many nuts are not raw, there toasted but since they are not roasted they call them raw. I am trying to learn more recipes and I have had way too many delicious dishes that had nuts as the ingrediants. So I guess I won’t be considered 100% raw.
