I am a veggie and about 98% vegan, recent raw vegan, not full time yet but about 80% just haven’t given up the cooked stuff yet- my biggest short coming is cheese- I’ve given up all other forms of dairy but cheese is the weak link for me, I do try to avoid it though.
I have been interested in raw vegan living for a really long time and have been enjoying my journey so far… everyday I eat healthy and raw I feel so much more amazing!!!
I like most others here used to eat it all- loved my burgers and still on occasion get that craving for the evils of all fast foods, I can usually think about the animals that had to suffer and hurt for my meal and i am fine- if that doesn’t work there’s ALWAYS a veggie alt for whatever I crave.
Everyday is new and exciting on the path to being healthy.
I am married & have 3 boys & two of my children are vegetarian, my husband is not nor is my youngest, I do not cook meat in my house so they are veggie here at home, hopefully someday they will both convert as well, as for myself and my older two boys, we love finding new exciting things to eat that are not animal derived- they are not the healthiest of vegetarians, they love junk food but they are kids and we started late in trying to live healthy, so older habits die hard- we try though.
my oldest,is 13 now and is encountering a lot of peer pressure to eat crap- sad but he has been having a hard time with it, while my middle son, is finally coming around and getting more interested in eating healthier and learning the new cool stuff he can do with the processor and blender- he’s also loving the juicer now.
we share life with our handsome feline Rudy, and a beautiful guinea pig,her name is Olive-Plum she adores the leftovers lately from my raw kitchen often we share meals as we follow the same diet.
I am excited to have found a website so fun, for raw living, the others have been so bland,even if they are informative.
