I went vegan by 16yrs old, but through anemia adapted a pescatarian lifestyle (I mirrored it after the Rastafarians). I have eaten some poultry flesh since then, and I think after I met my husband he got me to eat my first red meat since I was 15 so I got so totally SICK! but now I got him (or he got himself) on the Raw Vegan Food Train (you want to know how? He LOVES Bikes; all I did was get him to read Brendan Brazier, whose book has a bike on the front cover!).
I am now 24. I still consume broth made from the bones of turkey/chicken (I make them for my cats homemade food and have LOTS of bones leftover every week). I Love Honey, but cut back on my Eggs : ) Which is Huge for me - I felt like I used eggs as a substitute for meat.
I have a Champion Juicer & my next step is to get a Vitamix Blender (Costco sells them at a $170 discount for the holidays).
