As a student of Holistic Nutrition it’s so exciting to see people waking up to the reality of the food epidemic that we face. While so many are starving and dying of food shortages, the Western world is abundant with the diseases of overconsumption. We are stuffing ourselves with chemical laden, nutritionally sparse foods while are bodies are longing for the return to a natural way of living.
I first came across the concept of living foods about 5 years ago when I was reading about a Korean doctor and his use of enzymes to assist cancer patients. Since then it has become a focus and a passion of mine, and I started working for a raw foods company and doing public speaking about the power of enzymes. I feel that every issue facing humankind can be fixed if we first turn our focus on fixing ourselves on the individual level. Only then can we affect change in the world.
