I quit sugars, soda, candie, cookies ect... January 2010 because my bones and joints, bottom of my feet, especially my upper spine would hurt and they would feel swollen too. I noticed it would bother me more depending on how much sugar I had. To me it looked like the start of Diabetes. I had avoided it in the past because of the phyisical work I did at the airport. My Dad and 2 brothers got Diabetes or found out they had it about 1999 and 2000. It was finaly catching up with me. It scaired me so I quit all the man-made sugars I could and also quit white rice and white breads and quit eating yogurt and quit drinking milk. After reading '50 Secrets of the World's Longest Living People' I learned that by chewing my food better I was able to almost got rid of my hypoglicemia. So I thought 'I can finally be a Vegitarian again'. Then after reading 'The Rave Diet" I decided since I'm already lactos intolorant, I shouldn't have dairy anyway. And learning how our bodie sees dairy and eggs just like meat because of the toxens in them, then I became a Vegan. Then after continualy reading more books on health and diet I am slowly going Raw. January I was 185 lbs, I went down to 132 lbs then up a bit to now I'm about 140 lbs. I haven't felt this good in 20 yrs. Now I'm reading the book 'The Live Food Factor' and soon I'm going to get some books by Dr Douglas Graham.
