I’m Sarah Erck Welle, 30 years old, living in Seattle. I like to pretend that I’ve started a tiny farm in my own backyard – my Farmette! I’ve got three backyard chickens, a Great Dane, two cats, and a new baby born in October 2009. I also love to garden and enjoy experimenting with ways I can be as self-sufficient and green as possible. I love to make (or attempt to make) homemade things, especially in the realms of cooking, sewing, crocheting, farmy stuff, etc. I’m interested in reading about & using Raw Foods , but I’m not a hard core 100% raw foodist.

I got married at the end of 2006. For our honeymoon we went on a year long bicycle tour around the world! We documented the trip at www.erck.org

I currently work full time in the technology industry (business intelligence consulting, in case you were really curious). When I’m not working, though, I prefer to think about food and farmy crafty type things rather than analytics & dashboards.
