My name is Hyl. That used to be my screen name on here, I've been on this site for about two years now, but for some reason, my old account has become mucked up and I can't log on, so I was forced to create a new account. I am 23 years old and I live in a little hollow in the mountains of Northeast Georgia.
Regarding my diet, I have been an animal lover my whole life, and I am an avid animal activist. It only made sense to stop eating the things I loved, so I converted to vegetarianism when I was twelve years old. At fifteen, upon researching the truths of the milk and egg industry, I became a vegan and upped my participation in the world of animal rights.
I am not new to eating raw or fructarianism. I have experimented with both regimens. I am recovering from an eating disorder, a feat which gave me no choice at one time to abandon these regimens because I was becoming orthorexic, which began to hinder my recovery. However, I am at a somewhat stable place right now and have a better idea of how to manage a raw diet, so I'm giving it another go. I am particularly interested in juicing, and I would like to up myself up into fructarianism once again.
Just a bit about me otherwise: I am earning my Associates Degree in Environmental Horticulture, focusing on landscape design and greenhouse production; I enjoy being outdoors, especially when there is work to do outside; I am an avid reader and writer; I love to take photographs; and The Beatles, Badfinger, and Led Zeppelin own my ears.
