Quick and easy breakfast that tastes wonderful! Any juice or nut will work fine here.
this recipe reminds me of my childhood days...waking up to a nice bowl of tasty oatmeal, only better!
This was originally going to be my fix for a snicker-doodle cookie craving, but when I took a bite of the batter I realized I had never tasted oatmeal this good in all my life!!!! So It can be served as an awesome breakfast cereal or throw it in the dehydrater for cookies or bars!!! A little bit is filling so it can serve quite a few people!! You could also Change out the oats for another soaked or sprouted grain, add osme fruit, whatever makes you smile!!!
If you love a good apple/raisin/coconut/walnut combo, you're in for a treat.
All aboard....next stop is Yum City!
I have been craving oatmeal lately..so i made this smoothie. It was so delicious, when my husband had a taste, he asked me to make him one ;) You can make your own almond milk but I am a beginner so just used unsweetened almond milk (I know, maybe not totally raw but what I had on hand). You can even add ginger for a “ginger bready” taste. The almond butter made it really thick and I had to add a bit of water to thin it out. It could have been eaten with a spoon as a raw oatmeal but I made it into a smoothie since I had to leave the house. It was simply delicious!!
I am thinking you can probably thicken this into a “batter” and make them into oatmeal cookies ;)
