Hello, Everyone!
The days are luxuriously long, our bicycles take us where we need to go, and the farmer's markets beckon every Saturday morning from across the river and down the block. Summertime in Portland! The best time of the year to be raw!
Full Steam Ahead!
Many thanks to each member who has made Gone Raw a smashing success. We are growing like mad with more than 500 recipes and a thousand members, not to mention five thousand posts in the discussion forums! As you may have read in Ray's announcement we have successfully moved to our new host to make room for new friends, new recipes, more love. Our new host will make Gone Raw more reliable, speedy, roomy and fun! Let us know what you think.
What with Gone Raw on our new, fancy host, we're itching to jump into the list of improvements we've been adding to these last few months! In the meantime, why not take a digital photo of your new favorite summertime raw recipe and post it on the site to celebrate?
Summer+Raw=TLA
Get thee to a farmer's market! Strawberries sweet and floral enough to make you cry, not to mention spring onions, leeks, new potatoes, basil, cucumbers, broccoli and tiny little carrots filled my basket last week. How about a home uncooked meal with your loved one(s) in the backyard? Some highlights from Gone Raw sound like just the thing for a summertime soiree:

Thanks everyone!
We have been working a lot on Gone Raw over the past week or so, and we appreciate your patience during this "construction!" We've moved the website over to a new computer, which is faster and more reliable, and will allow us to keep growing and building a bigger and better community. There were a few kinks, but we think it's all ironed out now... we hope!
Thanks so much for being a part of Gone Raw.
Cheers,
Ray and Kandace
