Broccoli Ideas

One of my all-time favorite veggies is broccoli, but eating it raw upsets my stomach. Does anyone have any methods or ideas about “cooking” cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, etc.) that do not involve a dehydrator or the use of salt/high sodium products? Thanks in advance!

  • I wonder if marinating in lemon juice would help break down the fibers to aid in digestion. I know that when used with fish it actually cooks it a little. who knows though, I’m only guessing.

  • JoyceH, what is the consistency of the brocolli when dehydrated? Also, what temp do you use for that?
