I remembered that aloe vera is supposed to be good for cleansing the colon, too. I just ate the goo from a leaf. Just so anyone knows, you have to drain out the yellow stuff that is in the leaf before eating the gel, or else it will taste super bitter. I just blot it on a paper towel until no more yellow stuff – sometimes I have to cut off a piece and then blot again to get it all.
