coconut oil

I have been using coconut oil as my moisturizer
im going on a trip to chicago. is it okay to take some oil with me and leave it at room temp for a few hours? or will it go bad

I never refrigerate mine. I took it last summer on the boat that I work on, and it was great. I left it outside and it was nice and warm and liquid when I used it.

hey Babylon, it wont go bad but it will probably liquify, no harm in it just that it will be quite runny.
keep it away from the dark and out of the sunlight/in well ventilated area as best as possible.

Just be careful if you are out in the sun or burn easily. I don't use coconut oil as a moisturizer in the summer after an incident where my face got fried!
