Ok, what's this with coconut shreds.....PLEASE a replacement! What could i use...anyone? Its everywhere and i dont want to use it.......i need a subtitute people!!
It would depend on the recipe and the desired texture. If it's to make milk, almonds might be a good substitute. If it's a base ingredient to give mass or a cream substitute, perhaps soaked sunflower seeds, macadamia nuts or cashews.
