Well Codex is a company being braught in to regulate the worlds food. “Regulate” meaning “alternating”

It is sooooo bad, they want to irradiate all vegetables (organic or not) and eventually it will be ILLEGAL for us to grow our own.

Hi Magdi. Here are some links to other Codex posts here at GR. Not all of us think it just a bunch a maniacs spouting half-truths and lies after we’ve done a lot of research and read through the pages of proposed laws they are trying to get passed in Congress, not simply looked at Wiki which can be edited by anyone and everyone. They are not stupid people behind Codex; they do not attach the name Codex Alimentarius to the food/supplement/agriculture/FDA bills they are attempting to pass in many countries including the U.S. and Canada as we speak.

aspire, I did not say that. I said the woman in the video was spouting half-truths and she is. My advise to read Wiki was to make it easier to get an idea of what Codex was in a condensed version before moving on. Just because I don’t froth at the mouth with conspiracies at every turn is no reason to make me sound like a facist. Also, Wiki is a good site and not edited by illiterate morons. Well, not for the most part.

You or I, or anyone with the motivation to, can go on and edit/add things to Wiki’s site. As you said, it can be a great starting point for many subjects, but can and does lack an incredible amount of accuracy and information and should not be a defining nor end-all, know-all source.
Conspiracists frothing at the mouth? That is quite a blanket statement covering quite a few people, many who have the courage, intelligence, and dilligence to seek their own answers, hidden truths and facts, and speak out when they find discrepencies and horrors committed, not follow blindly those who are in positions of power to affect a majority of others in less affluent positions.

kevlar, it’s not that I admire or have faith in codex alimentarius; I don’t. I see it for what it is, a greedy corrupt and totally insane creature. I simply do not like or put faith in a shrieking maniac like the speaker in the YouTube video. I do not have to suck in every single solitary word from every single person from a sense of “loyalty”. It doesn’t matter if we both agree on a thought.
I find that there is a real sheep mentality today in our country. It’s pretty bad that folks don’t just want you to believe in the same ideal. They want others to puke out the exact same words, and worship the exact same person. I think that it is pretty obvious that you guys are not reading much of anything I’ve said. You are only stopping at the fact taht I do not like or appreciate the speaker, and that’s all. From there, you are creating a situation and set of beliefs for me that does not exist and that I do not have. I don’t appreciate it.

This is not fantasy or conspiracy theory. Your common sense will tell you that the FDA does not have our best interests at heart, because if they did, they would not allow fluoride to be put in our drinking water, or high-fructose corn syrup, aspartame or MSG in our food. The truth is, government and big-business are trying to kill us, and they’re profiting, big time, the whole way along, and the only salvation we have from this nightmare is our fresh raw food and natural health. Is it so unbelievable that they’d target that next? Making vitamin supplements prescription-only would be a cream dream for the pharmaceutical companies.
Believe me, I don’t subscribe to hive mentality. If I did, I would not be on this forum.
There’s conflicting information everywhere on the net, but at the end of the day, you just have to decide for yourself who to believe.

TomsMom – no apology necessary. :) It’s a touchy and scary subject so it’s bound to bring up all kinds of reactions from us all and I am no better than anyone.
I don’t think this thread should be about any specific one of us here, for it’s obvious, we are each on the same side here trying to create a better, peaceful, and prosperous co-existence for ALL of us and our Earth- simply about Codex, those extremely selfish and misguided people behind it, and what is truly happening.
Kevlar, WHERE are you getting your thoughts of my views from? Did you not read what I said? As far as the FDA is concerned, I was writing papers in the 6th grade(in 1975, uggg!) for school about the corruption of the FDA, while most kids were goofing around. Unlike a lot of folks today, I didn’t have to have an idol or movie star tell me what to protest or believe in. I guess it was that era that promoted free-thinking and question. But again, I don’t appreciate words being put into my mouth. Having the same believe or ideal does not mean I will robotically repeat everything you or anyone says. Or sucker into every egotistical maniac shouting “DOOMSDAY” on a video. My thoughts about the speaker have nothing to do with my beliefs about corrupt and worthless Codex.
What you are insisting on doing here is to put false words into my mouth, create beliefs that don’t exist, and then argue them. It’s sort a “young” thing to do, but it tells me that you’ve been taught some sort of erroneous concept of communal spirit.
To be honest, I find it disheartening and a bit sickening after the protests I’ve been involved in since the 1970s, to hear so much robotic manipulation. It’s just awful that today’s so-called “independents” are just programmed little mice.

Some of us may argue that the lady in the video has an alarming tone of voice or using alarming words, however, those that still fail to understand what is going on are literally living in a fantasy world. I for one have had enough of our governments manoeuvres in cooperation with big business to intoxicate all of us either with pharmaceuticals or with food/water supply. Wake up before it’s too late. Actually I liked her she reminds me of my Niece. And although I do not take much stock in the Bible only because I think it has been altered with personal opinion. but this does follow with prophecy now doesnt it. Whether the Bible is correct or not seems some people are out to make it a reality. Remember our technology created alot of things that were mear science fiction not that long ago. What is that saying?! if you can think it you can create it. and there has never been a shortage of people wanting to take over the world.Forgive me for my spelling it was never a strong suit of mine, but I can see this looks pretty crystal clear to me.

Jumping in on this converation, and running with it in a completely different direction.
Whether this is true or not, if enough people believe in it to make it true, then it is true to them. If its not true, and they still beleive in it, then there is something scaring them into thinking that this is happening, and I think that SHOULD be the point. Its no lie to most of us that as angry as we are about our government, we are just as scared as what they can do, without us knowing or giving them permission to do it. The FDA is worse, because they control a product (food) which is needed for us to live.
Only the most corrupt systems of control believe that it is okay to charge us for something that we absolutely need to have to live.
Its a bigger problem than the FDA just forcing you too eat non-organic foods, cooked foods, etc. They have this control because our food is under lock and key. Meaing that, our ancestors, thousands upon thousands of years ago NEVER had to actually work 40 hours a week to get food. Some were gatherers, some were hunters, others were both, but food came to them FREELEY! Sure, they were at the mercy of mother nature and her whims, and sometimes the population dwindled and sometimes it increased, but which animal isnt immune to these laws? None are, including us. As our food storages increase to feed an increasing population, so does our population increase.
We somehow believed we are outside a law that had governed us for hundred of thousands of years, and governs all other animals, and some very small pocketed human locations today. Those small pockets of humans (undiscovered tribes etc) arent destroying our world by over-consumerism and population. The animals are not doing that either. We as a culture, a totalitarian agriculture, are doing this.
It was a sad day when some of our kind said that we actually had to work to get money to get food, instead of picking it off a tree or hunting it in the fields for free. It doomed our world unless we can change everything.
Back to the point, these people can argue and fight all they like to get these foods free from FDA tampering, (and I hope they do, because organic food is amazing and I would hate to see my fruits and veggies start poisoning me,or them take away my possibility to heal myself), but if the larger problem isnt solved, ie. overpopulation, not living within natures laws, food under lock and key, then humanity will end soon anyways, or we will get to the point that the world will destroy us, showing us that we ARENT immune from her laws.
Haha! You’re right KKD Soccer801, and there is a much bigger picture than just Codex that needs awareness shined upon it and changed. When I first became aware of what Codex was doing (and has been doing) I was extremely angry and fearful and ready to fight! I didn’t know what to do though, besides let others know…. and many people are not yet willing to to believe or accept it as reality- either out of fear or numbed apathy. But I wasn’t content living with fear and anger and kept searching for what else I could do. I think I have the answer now. I believe I can only change myself, ultimately.. yet in doing so, the world changes. Remembering who I am (who each of us are) and no longer living in fear, anger, etc. Perhaps sounds hokey at this point to some, but that does not matter. And the exciting part is watching others awaken and therby change our world for the better even more- the 100th Monkey Phenomenom. It is happening and the signs are there if one pays attention. :) That’s not to say that some people are not still suffering nor that suffering will not still occur, but more and more people are changing and waking up and it will grow exponentially. And I will still do what I can to stop Codex (and other selfish people) from bringing harm to others and our Earth.
