I’m so sorry to hear about your husband. And, not to be rude waterbaby, but I know a far better book. It’s called the Bible. All the answers of life, in one book. God can be your comfort, He cares for you. Welcome. :)
Welcome, Daisychick!
Wow, that’s a huge event to digest, I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope that this community will help you make awesome new food choices.
Big hugs, Birdie
Hi Daisychick. So sorry to hear of your loss. I too eat for emotional reasons. Being aware of it is half the battle. I hope you find that you are fully satisfied eating raw foods. I have not had many cravings since starting about a week ago. Good luck on your journey.
Daisychick, Welcome. I’m very sorry to hear about your loss. You’re at the right place for support and answers to various health questions. Eating raw has helped me gain more balance in my life. If you like reading, like waterbaby said, you could try Pema Chodron “When things fall apart”. It’s a good, nontheistic book that helped me. I wish you all the best, and hope that raw can help with healing.
I agree – so sorry. This site is full of supportive people AND good food/recipes.
