I had eczema which disappeared when I cut out dairy – do you know if she has dairy? It took about 3 weeks to start to see a difference, but all gone since, nothing. I havent had it for ages now (dairy) but used to find that if I fell off the wagon & had some I would start to itch pretty much straight away. With regards to the cream, if it responds to clearing the dairy residues, she wont need it!
These might help;

My brother had a patch of hair fall out after a particularly stressful experience so could well be the case. It did grow back though.

I found this on another one, but it was this bit that might be helpful rather than the whole article;
Types of Alopecia With No Known Cause
‘Although most types of alopecia or hair loss can be explained by natural or unnatural causes, there are two types that as of yet have no known cause. Alopecia areata- a type of patchy hair loss that affects children and young adults- and alopecia universalis- a condition that results in the complete loss of hair on the scalp and body- cannot yet be explained. These conditions usually present a sudden onset and may be resolved naturally. In other cases the condition can be treated with corticosteriods or hormone therapy. In some cases the condition is resistant to treatment and the hair loss is permanent. No matter what the cause of your hair loss or alopecia it is best to consult with a doctor about the severity of your condition and your best options for treatment.’
There’s loads to Google,
good luck, let us know how she gets on..
Raw coconut oil or raw butter may help… according to Enzyme Nutrition book. People w/ eczema may not be able to digest fat very well. So, raw fat, topically or may just eating it, may help since the raw fat has the lipase enzyme to digest fat. I would try topically too.
