Flax Cracker calories?

I just bought raw flax crackers online, and I LOVE how they taste. Yum!

I'm trying to lose weight though, and as they consist mostly of fat (flax seeds, nuts,...) I wonder how many calories they approximately have?

There is no nutritional info on them, but the ingredients are: flax seeds, para nuts, buckwheat, tomatos, carrots, onion, gerlic, herbs

How many calories would you estimate for 100 gr?

Thanks a bunch!!

No idea, but if you're doing very high raw, you will probably lose weight without even counting calories. I definitely did, and it was the 1st time I've ever lost weight without having to count, measure, put up with more hunger than I'd like to, etc. It was pretty amazing.

Enjoy one of the many benefits of eating raw!

  • grapefruit, wow, that sounds wonderful! I'd LOVE to stop counting, but I'm a bit afraid, because so many raw delicious snacks seem to have a base of nuts or avocados and other fatty stuff. But I might give it a try, though, cause it sounds so tempting, hehe! BTW, congrats on weightloss!

maya, thanks a bunch for that link! They don't use nuts in that recipe though, but even if I add some more calories for them, 100 gr should still be no more than 300 cals - far better than I feared. =)

    Thanks!

@ dancing, I know what you mean. Eating small quantities of fat (oil, nuts, avocado) every day didn't stop me from losing, but then again I didn't make any raw breads or buy any raw snacks (would have loved to, but no time). I mostly ate fruit or salads that I made myself, so I felt like I was more in control of what - and in roughly what quantities- went in to them.

Maybe filling up on salads and adding a handful of nuts & some oil to them, as opposed to breads/ crackers that are made with mostly fat (albeit the healthy kind) would help?

    Good luck!
