food combining and fat

Greetings! so, I’m very new at living 100% RAW…and just discovered that food combining matters. That leads me to two questions…kind of unrelated. One: Where might I learn of proper food combining? and Two: I’m curious about fats and coconuts. I’ve been eating a ton of coconut! Thanks a bunch!!

  • Welcome Cole! I found a website recently that has been helping me with my food combining, I hope it helps you too. http://www.nvo.com/truthinhealth/foodcombiningc…

Eating a lot of fats is very normal when you first start your Raw journey, I was eating 2, sometimes 3 avocados a day. It really helps you to not feel deprived when your belly is full of fats. Don’t stress about what you are eating in the beginning as long as it’s raw. Your body will adjust and you will find yourself craving “high fat” foods less.

  • Thanks a bunch this site is awesome!! Cheers!

  • YOung coconut have not the same fat amount like mature coconuts!

“The average young coconut contains under 150 calories and provides about 20% of your daily requirement of calcium, 2 grams of fiber, 28 grams of carbs, 2 grams of protein, 15 grams of sugar 3 grams of saturated fat. Coconut water contains a full spectrum of B vitamins (sorry no B6 or B12) and vitamin C.”
