Green Snot

Normally this would have told me that I had some sort of infection. However, I’ve had green mucus for the last month, but absolutely no – NONE WHATSOEVER - symptoms of a cold of any kind. What does this mean????

Do I have an infection that my raw body has been so adeptly handling I’m not experiencing the side effect of germ battle? Has my snot always been green and I’ve just never noticed? Is this ‘ancient snot’, from long past colds, trapped in my poor body all these, and only now able to be released through the power of raw?

My son has had a cold for some time now as well, but he’s not raw and the little bugger is definitely feeling it.

What do you think?

One vote here for “ancient snot”... that is unless you are snorting your greens (or anything else, like nasal spray) rather than eating them… 8O)

    Ha ha! Ancient snot! :)

You might want to try Neti Pot to clear out your sinus – you might have a lot of snot at the beginning but it will go clear eventually.

  • Sounds like a sinus infection. I had one last year that wouldn’t go away, but never had any cold symptoms (just junk in my sinuses) – turns out I had Type1 diabetes and once the blood sugar was under control, the infection went away. I used the Walgreen’s version of a neti pot both morning and night – it really got my sinuses clean. Unfortunately it also elicited a gag response from seeing the green mess that was dropping out of my nose. Ugh. But it did work miracles.

I have a great experience with a long lasting sinus infection, but my TMI stories quota has been reached for the day… :(
