HELP! I forgot my password!

Once upon a time, you had to write to us to get a new password. Those days are over! Last week we added a feature to let you recover your own password. Here’s how it works.

When you visit the login screen, you now have the option to reset your password. Look for the Forgot your password? link in the lower left. You will be prompted for your email address, and Gone Raw will then send a message to your email address.

Check your email. You should get a message that contains a link. Click that link!

You will then be back at Gone Raw, and you will be asked to type in a new password (twice). That’s your new password!

For the curious, we value password security at Gone Raw. That’s why the email doesn’t contain a password – that wouldn’t be very secure! Instead, it lets you choose a new password, which is then stored in our database in a very secure fasion. Even if a hacker were to get a copy of the Gone Raw database, they couldn’t figure out the passwords in there!

One final note: Be sure that emails from Gone Raw aren’t getting “spam blocked!” If you’re having troubles, check your spam first. That’s usually the problem.

  • Hi I had to create another account name because I could never get the system to email me a temporary password to my email address. I am not sure how to email you directly about this problem. I would still like to be able to access my old account. Thanks, Liz

  • ok, i have a complaint. i appreciate all the work you have done , the site looks great, BUT everytime i come on and have to login it doesnt recoginize my user name or password. i have to create a new password every single time. is it me? or are there still kinks being worked out?

    Katt, you don't say if you've tried the Request New Password link. If you have and are not getting results, try emailing Kandace directly: kandace at needmoredesigns.com.

  • yes, i have to request new password everytime , i get on and then the next time i have to repeat the process. thats why i was wondering if they are still working on "kinks". if im doing something wrong please let me know, but i have had this problem since the changes and while they were working on the site. not before.

  • I am having a similiar problem. everytime the site gets a new update my password doesnt work and i have to go thru the request a new password to my email address. I think there is a kink in the system somewhere...

    Katt, sounds like your best course of action at this point would be to email Kandace directly. Hope you get it solved soon.

    The only other suggestion I have, beyond emailing Kandace directly (kandace at needmoredesigns.com) is to use the Feedback link (bottom right corner of all screens) when you are on the screen that gives you the password error message.
