How long did you detox when you went raw?
I've been raw now for 2+ months. Most days, I feel centered and really good. Morning like today, however, I woke up nauseous. My first reaction is that something must be wrong but then I think that it might simply be part of my detox process. I was wondering if that happened to others and for how long did this happen?
Hey :) I'm only on my 20th day of all raw low fat and I am definitely still getting good doses of nauseous-ness (including today!). I just started back at work and seem to be struggling hard to get all my calories when my "main priority" is to man the desk!
I always always take the weather into mind, the weather and me don't get along too well. :)
I'm still breaking out, and went from oily skin to peeling skin in the course of a week but its getting better now.
I'm also finding that when I don't drink a lot of water and don't go to my yoga classes I don't feel so hot either.
Hope that helps ...at little? I know its only 20 days! but yeah still detoxing here!
What exactly are you eating? Are you getting the bulk of your calories from sweet fruit? Are you limiting your fat intake? Are you avoiding improper food combinations, like sugar and fat?
There could be many reasons that you are nauseated, and likely it's not because of detox.
Hope that helps,
I've only been at it for a week now and it hasn't been 100% so I expect it to take a while. I'll let you know when everything seems to be out of my system.
I have been detoxing for a couple of months. Detox for me has included, that feeling you get when you are on the verge of getting sick, sore throat (clears later in the day) and at times lethargy. I haven't done any clonics etc so I am sure it is the release of toxins. Plus I stopped taking the pill, so I am sure my hormones are out of wack as well. Keep us posted on your progress!!!
Hormones are likely to create alot of your symptoms to speed things up you can take bitter herbs on the back of the tongue which cleanse you liver, so that your liver can metabolise the excess hormones.
You'll need to up your water intake though as they do cleanse the liver effectively.
