I love my new Juicer

FeeFee Raw Master

I decided that I was going to splash out and replace my trusty hand operated gear juicer with a more powerful one. After a lot of research I bought a Samson 6 in 1 ( I was going to get a champion originally but discovered that not only was the Samson cheaper but it crushed the fruit not chopped it like the champion.)

Its so wonderful -I dont know why I didnt by one before. Its so easy to clean for a start, Ive used it 3 times today, two different juices (it came with a free copy of super juice by Michael Straton (sp)) and also for grinding up soaked cashews and dates to make ice cream. Yesterday I used it to make banana ice cream which I had previuosly made with a mini chopper – not only was it quicker and quieter but it cam out in such a cool rope (or worm if you like). I made chocolate sauce from cocoa, almond butter, agave nectar and hot water (not raw I know but better than the shop bought stuff) and it was a good as any ice cream Ive had (and I had some very good stuff on holiday last week)

Anyway sorry to go on so long but anyone thinking or getting one of these DO IT – its worth the money!

  • Ok, I am a juicing fanatic and I am due for a new juicer. Right now I have the Breville and I like it a lot but it creates a lot of foam. How does this one do with foam? Also, will it take a whole apple or do I have to cut them up? (I hate to cut up my veggies!). Why do you like it so much? Which one did you have before? Is it complicated to use? Where should I buy it?

I actually have four juicers. My absolute favorite is the Breville because it is the easiest to use and thus the one I am most likely to use. I just finished a 50 day juice fast. After the first few days I thought that I should use a different juicer that extracts more juice than the Breville. It is a single gear juicer. Although it extracts more, it is soooooooo time consuming to cut up the fruit and veggies in little itty bitty pieces that I decided that if I had to do that daily, it would drive me crazy and discourage me from juicing. During my fast, I used a fine stainless steel mesh strainer to not only get rid of foam, but also the little bit of pulp that gets into the juice. Also, if I have time, I run the pulp through the juicer once or twice and more juice is always extracted. Showme, unless you have tons of spare time on your hand, if you are used to the ease of use with the Breville, I don’t think you will be satisfied with the Samson, unless they have changed it to allow for large pieces of fruits and veggies. Fee, it’s good that you didn’t get the Champion as it does generate some heat as you are juicing and that is definately something you do not want to do!

  • Ok, now I’m confused. Is there a place I can go visibly view all of the juicers out there? I love juicers.

You do need to chop uo the fruit or veggies to fit them it but I dont mind doing that. There is some foam but I tend to drink that too! If you juice strat into the glass and use all of one fruit and then all of another you can end up with a different colour foam to most of the juice which looks quite pretty. I think I just typed in Juicer to a search engine and loks of places came up with comparisons on the different juicers. I ended up getting mine from Living Pure in England – free next day delivery too.
