Juice Fast and birth controle pill

Hello everyone! this is my 1st post on this website. I will be doing an 8 day juice fast soon to quit smoking and get my eating habits in order. I am wondering if its worth going on a juice fast to detoxify while being on the birth controle pill? Will the pill keep the body from cleaning itself? Thanks all!

    our bodies can never be completely clean because of the air we breathe and water that we absorb from showers or drinking water…cleaning products we use…hair products…make-up…hair dye…I am sure there are some people out there that do their best to change all those things but, I could not afford to change everything in my life but, I do the best I can. My advice to you is if you have to take birth control then don’t worry about it just do the best you can:) I am sure making the changes that you are is going to make a huge difference in your health….although finding other forms of birth control might be safer…but that decision should be your to make. Good Luck:) and I am sure some of the great folks on this site will chime in:)

    i say stay on it. going off for just a week or so will throw you off too much. if you decide to go completely off of it, wait until you are ready for your period and then just stay off it. that’s how i did it.
