juicing roots

I was just getting ready to juice some burdock root. I have always wondered if it is necessary to take the skin off... It's almost impossible to clean the burdock root well but I'm not sure if I really need to cut the brown part away or not. I am also wondering the same thing about ginger. What do you do?

  • Hi Jen, I never remove the skin of ginger, maybe that's not the way to do it but it works for me.
