Less menstruation after going raw?

I realised my menstruation flow has gotten lighter and it’s over in 2 days, ever since i started on a mostly raw diet 6 months ago.

Am very worried if I am lacking in any nutrients. Is anyone here experiencing the same thing?

i’m not worried about that. in only 2 months my period has become shorter and lighter. and i have not PMS. i have noticed too a difference in my “vaginal flux/discharge” (? sorry my English isn’t good enough for “technical” words), the consistency is later and it is odourless. After some days eating SAD again it has become quickly heavy.

I don’t think that those change are related to nutrient lacking (in my case), i think that my “high raw body” isn’t as “overcharged” as my “sad body”, and that is the reason for menstruation change.

My period also shortened by two days by going high raw. This was a good thing cuz it was rather heavy and I certainly didn’t need all that blood loss. Now whenever I have a bad spell (low raw) it tends to get heavier and pimples show up too.

Can I trade places with you Honeygal? :) I have the worst cramps right now! Ugh! i hate it.

My period has changed but not really for the better. When I ate more cooked, it is was longer more spread out but I swear my cramps weren’t as bad. Now, I get two days of heavy blood (I got some on the sheets last night – how I hate that!) and bad cramps. Than after the two days, the cramps disappear and the blood goes very light.

I hate having all the misery in two days. I would rather have it spread out.

What really causes cramps anyhow? Is it diet or toxins? I read it is just your muscles contracting down there to move the blood out. But why are some peoples bad and others have none?

The only time in my life I had no cramps during my period was when I had a physical job and I worked out like everyday for at least an hour. But that isn’t a possibility now. I wonder if I just make sure those muscles down there get exercise I wonder if that will help my cramps.

    I can’t wait for menopause.:)
