hi there , i would like to start my raw diet tonite and looking fwd for a mentor or buddy to keep me goin, exchange idea and thoughts…...anyone interested????
i will be your buddy..i am starting it too..and not sure what to do or who to go for…but have been playing with recipes and having fun with it…
you should aslo check the forum for 100% raw challenge..there are many people just starting or in the transition stages as well

That is the best idea ever! When I was eating vegaterian – I made meals for my family and then made the same thing, vegetarian – but it’s not working RAW. Example – last night I made them baked chicken, steamed potatoes, and fresh peas. When I was vegeterian I would have just had the potatoes and beans and maybe a small salad. But I can only eat salad so many times. I’m having a hard time during dinner. For breakfast I usually have a green smoothie, and fruit the rest of the day with nuts in between. But dinner I find myslef just woofing down what the family is having out of frustration.
I totally sympathize with you EnjoyRaw! I have a similar problem. I will actually eat a salad for dinner and then get frustrated and give in to cooked food. Only time of day it ever happends. I just posted a question about nighttime eating. Someone suggested eating foods at warm temp at night and another said it’s emotional eating. Don’t know if this helps you at all, but it helped me understand why I do it.
Enjoy raw..you’re correct most things don’t work so well. I get home from work around 3:00 so I have my heavier raw meal then. i still cook for a family of 5 , but I’ll either do a blended soup or just greens with a nice dressing for dinner. I’m not hungry after 4:00.One recipe that works well for all is to make your marinara sauce raw. You use it on your zuchini noodles and they use it on their pasta.
wow!!!!! thats nice. I started last nite after 30 min work out. I am not 100% raw at the moment and still learning and try to understand things better. Malaysian is a food heaven so its difficult but nothing is possible.
