I tried searching for this but didn’t see an existing thread. If there is one, I would appreciate a pointer.
I’m trying to use CRON-o-Meter software but there are some foods not in the current database. I’d like to add these as custom foods, but I don’t know where to get information. Is there any source for even a rough nutritional analysis of such things as sprouted sunflower seeds or other common raw foods that are not yet in the database? (There are several raw sprouted seeds in the database.)
Germin8, thank you. I haven’t eaten any sprouts recently. I’m just starting to try sprouting, but it’s definitely interesting. I’m trying to find a way to bump up my protein intake (just a smidgen) without adding excessive amounts of fat.
You can look at the nutritional value of the seed or whatever else you’re using and try multiplying it by some percentage, but otherwise, if the info is unavailable, use a legume’s sprouted info or just do a guess. :/
