nuts for recipes?
We don’t have a health food store close by and I don’t like to order online, can I use the packaged nuts from the grocerey store (usually found in the baking aisle) in place of the raw nuts called for in raw recipes?
all nuts really are the same. i've tasted bulk bin and pre-packaged, roasted, "raw", salted. all the same processed food.
just don't get nuts with sugar in them. duh.
What do you mean "can I use"? Of course you can use them. They're pasteurized and high in fat, so use them sparingly, I would say.
