Recipe help!?! Sunflower flax bread

I’m trying to duplicate the sunflower flax bread that LifeForce LLC sells (lifeforcellc.net) but I can’t seen to get the proportions right.

The only ingredients are sprouted sunflower seeds, ground flax, agave, and sea salt and the bread has a slightly soft texture so it’s firm but a little gooey (and really delish!).

I don’t have much experience with making raw breads – can anyone offer some suggestions to getting the ratio of ingredients right? Thanks!

Try 3 or 4 cups of sunflower sprouts to 1 cup soaked flax, and for sweetner use a couple of apples or maybe 4 dates. We like to put our soaked flax through the blender with lots of water (1 cup flax in 1/2 blender full of water) to make a batter/cream, it makes bread really, really good!

  • Sounds great – I’m going to try that right away. Thanks Zoe!
