me too…that is so funny I was just thinking that, and then here this post was :)
I use them and LOVE them!! they keep our lettuce and all our veggies fresh for days longer. Totally worth it. We rinse them and re-use them too. Good for about 3-6 months each before they rip or start to smell.
I know this may sound stupid, but, it doesnt take the anything natural or “raw” away from the food does it?
They don’t do anything negative to your food. Here is an explination on how it works:
“Fruits, vegetables and flowers release ethylene gas while ripening after harvesting or picking. Ethylene gas accelerates ripening, aging and rotting. Green Bags® absorb and remove this damaging gas, dramatically extending the life of fruits, vegetables and flowers.”
I would give them a shot if I was out shopping one day and came across them. I’m too lazy to order them online though.
Thank you so much, cause I can get them locally so I will definetly try it!
I have green bags, and from the start have wondered if the rough stuff on the inside of the bags gets onto the food.
Would someone please tell me how to post with out the edit on?
