Sprouting Techniques

I'm going to start sprouting wheat grass. Unfortunately, there is no light in my kitchen so I was thinking of getting some kind of stand/tray for my living room.

What techniques do you use for sprouting? Do you have any recommendations?

I'm mainly interested in sprouting wheat grass, but also alfalfa, mung beans and more.

    Light is Completely Unnecessary for sprouting... in fact you don't need any light at all.... The only reason to use light is to turn your sprouts Green...
