I just tried DURIAN for the first time a few weeks ago at a raw restaurant in Chicago, Cousin's Incredible Vitality. I'm officially hooked! I've been back numerous times just to satisfy my durian cravings. :P
I would love to prepare my own durian concoctions, but getting a fresh one is not an option for me right now. However, I did manage to score a package of sun dried durian. I have no idea what to do with it.
Does anyone have any ideas? Should I soak it? Do you think I could try to recreate the cocoa-durian pudding from Cousin's using this dried stuff?
Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated!
