swollen legs

Hello everyone! I have been experiencing swelling of the legs latly, and I have grown slightly concerned. They are sweeling up so much that it makes my legs feel tight, and bening my knees feels difficult. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I stand on my feet for six hours a day at my job, but I don’t wear tight pants or anything. I drink pleanty of water and eat lots of fresh fruit and veg. Help! Thank you!

I know this is a dumb question, but have you either 1)eaten a lot of salt or salty things lately or 2) dumped all the salt suddenly from your diet?

By salty things, I also included stuff like canned beverages, frozen vegetables, anything that is processed with salt.

When I first dumped all added salt from my diet, I actually puffed up for a week.

I have not eaten any processed foods at all, and have not changed salt intakes at all! I really don’t understand! I eat mostly just fresh fruits and veg, with some pink sea salt, but a very small amount of that.

  • I would go to a doctor/nueropath to make sure it is not a sign of something serious.

  • i just scheduled surgery because of a valve issue with my saphanous vein that made my leg swell. try to get to a doctor to see if you can book an ultrasound…there may be something happening under the surface.

Dancin Durian… is the swelling like edema? If so, you could be lacking amino acid(s)... protein! I mention that, because that I just read about edema is caused by inadequate consumption of protein. Maybe you are lacking an amino acid or more for your body to build the complete protein. You need the complete protein. Vary your greens. But, it could be something else… I wouldn’t know what.
