Transitioning and Exhausted

I’ve been about 90% raw for a few weeks now and suddenly I am exhausted! Has anyone else experienced this? I also wonder how many people follow food combining rules. I have been trying to use Natalia Rose’s principles but I’m wondering if it’s keeping me from getting enough food when I need it. I would love to hear your thoughts.

maybe try going 100% foe a couple of weeks and see how that effects you. I felt better when I did. Victoria Boutenko says in her book 12 steps to raw food than 99%raw foodists assinilate 3% of their food but 100% raw foodists assimilate 30% of their food. Personally I do not follow food combining rule as since being 100% raw I have had no problems at all with digestion. You are probably detoxing too…good for you for getting this far into it, don’t let it go now!

I haven’t had the total exhaustion thing so much, but brain fog and headaches, stuff like that (all in my head, haha). Usually when I’m feeling less-than-great I just try to rest. Not always the easiest thing to accomplish!

And I just gotta say, gmom… that baby is CUUUTE!

  • yay, I finally am no longer exhausted. Been 100% raw for a few days shy of two months. It goes away and depends on your toxicity, prescriptions you’ve taken, illnesses you’ve had in your past. I had lyme disease 10 years ago and SWEAR it came back a few weeks ago. Now it’s gone and I feel great! so hang in there. I hate to mention it now, but I saw a picture of Victoria B from 2006 at a raw food spirit fest or something and was quite shocked. She seemed more than 50 pounds overweight..and considering I own three of her books, I’m concerned! She’s been raw for 11 years. I guess, no matter what, I’ll eat raw because I actually really enjoy it, but I thought that the superior health and fitness was a guarantee! She’s still a great lady and an inspiration…but…am I seeing things? am I nuts?
