what is your meal plan??

Hey, I was just curious to get a taste for what everyone eats on an average day. Sometimes i worry about whether I’m eating too much or not enough, so i thought i could get some insight by people sharing their own daily intakes. Please give some feedback if you’d like!

  • I’m going to start off by saying I’m not 100% raw, but I think that what’s “enough” food varies from person to person. Just eat until you’re comfortably full, and pay attention to how your body reacts to different foods. Some people thrive on green smoothies, some love to do mono meals, and some like to get fancy.

    I usually have small meals throughout the day (because of my hypoglycemia) consisting of fruits, nuts, and salads with the occasional pate.

    I throughout the day as I feel hungry, and I eat what I intuitively crave. Here is what I had yesterday:

    Lemon Water 8am Green Smoothie 10am Salad 1pm Pineapple Basil Mocktail four pm (my keyboard doesnt type a “four”...LOL!) Raw soup and raw crackers 7pm Raw cookie for dessert 8pm

    Today is my birthday and I indulged at a raw restaurant so it is an atypical day. But, if you are interested, for today I had:

    Lemon Water 8am Green Smoothie 10am Raw tostada w/guacamole, salsa, and corn, choco-macha-spiru-goji smoothie, and chocolate bliss cake for dessert 2pm

    It is now 9pm and I am still not hungry, so will not be eating any more today.

    Right now, I don’t eat that much because I am not doing much (not working):

    I am on a candida diet right now so no fruits (it is such torture!).

    So here is what I might have right now – a little different than what I normally might eat because of no fruits for a while.

    After I get up I will have either:

    Pau d’ Arco sun tea with Cat’s Claw and Probiotic

    Than

    Green Smoothie(spinach) with Coconut (oil or meat) and MSM (sometimes other misc stuff)

    Or

    Just Green Smoothie with the Pau d’Arco tea mixture.

    Snackie:

    Purple Corn Chip Nachos (purple corn chips,raw cheesie sauce, raw sour cream, tomatoes, green onion, bananna peppers, raw olives)

    OR

    sprouted rye bread with raw almond butter

    Dinnie:

    Large raw salad (greens, sprouts, cukes, tomotoes, pecans, olives, olive oil, lemon, salt,etc)

    OR

    Raw guacamole (avocadoes, tomatoes, green onion, olives, salt with purple corn chips or mexi-flax chips)

    Additional drinkies:

    Cacao and Coconut smoothies

    Normally I eat more but my diet is restrictive right now.

    2 kale salads

    fruit salad.

    Cucumber and celery juice, sometimes with added spinach and kale.

    A young coconut drink : young coconut(green Costa Rican one not white diamond Thai type) flesh and milk + dates. mmmmmm

    This morning I had a green smoothie with spinach, grapes and an apple. For a mid-morning snack, I ate a banana. For lunch I made the Ceasar salad on this site, with ground pumpkin seeds, lemon, olive oil, mustard and garlic. I’ve had three glasses of water in between, so far. I’ll eat a few dates this afternoon and a blended salad for dinner, with greens (probably romaine lettuce), carrots and an avocado plus some fresh dill for seasoning. I like all the recipes on this site, but I usually eat more simply.
