Some Small New Features
We've added a few small features to Gone Raw tonight. First, you can comment on the blog posts! There's a link on the home page and in the list of all the blog posts. We're hoping to get more feedback and discussion going around the site. What would you like to see us change or improve? Has Gone Raw helped you at all?
Also, there's a couple shortcut links on the home page, if you're logged in. You'll see them in the upper left part, where the website overview / description is otherwise.
We hope you find these little changes helpful, and hope to add a few new features every week.
First Mentions
We've been up and running just about a week now, and it seems that folks are starting to take notice. "The Oregon Live Tech Blog":http://www.oregonlive.com/weblogs/techblog/ mentioned us yesterday, "...from the same design team which brought us Cuppin'." Emily Chang yesterday also linked to us in "eHub":http://www.emilychang.com/go/ehub. We got some press!
On a personal note, it's been nice to see people in several raw food forums say nice things about us, and the emails people have been writing are very kind and encouraging. We've learned a lot from the feedback we've been getting - thanks for that. We're working on adding a forum to Gone Raw, to make it easier to talk about your questions or make feature suggestions, but for now, you can just write "rbrigleb@gmail.com":mailto:rbrigleb@gmail.com with your comments or questions.

Quick Search!
Well, it's been a couple days since we put this site out there, but already we've had lots of great feedback. Please, keep it coming! Send any suggestions to "rbrigleb@gmail.com":mailto:rbrigleb@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.
We just added a Quick Search feature today on the home page. Now it's easy to find a recipe if you remember just part of the name. Simply type in something like "onion" and click *Search*, and presto! There's some Onion Bread!

Status Update
We recently put up a number of "updates":http://goneraw.com/forums/gone-raw/topics/major-updates-coming-soon here on Gone Raw. We're happy to report that the site is much more stable now, but we've recognized that ultimately the code isn't tenable long term.
This just won't do! So, we've set aside a big chunk of time over the next two weeks to move Gone Raw to a completely new system and computer. This means that you won't see any fixes to the current site while we are in production.
We're very excited about the new site (which will look quite similar overall with some way cool features). We have every confidence in all smiles - we'll keep you updated!

Gone Raw Updates
We've just added some "major updates":http://goneraw.com/forums/gone-raw/topics/major-updates-coming-soon to the website.
# It is faster. (this was the biggest update)
# The forum software is upgraded, which makes is easier to add moderators in the
future.
# Things ā€œpaginateā€ better, which is totally geeky but handy

# Last, and the absolute most
requested addition in the recent survey, you can now add pictures to recipes you didnā€™t post!
Now, due to the major upgrades some things look a little different. Over the next few days weā€™ll go around fixing them. Weā€™ll probably try posting some pictures of recipes we didnā€™t make to be sure itā€™s working. For now, enjoy, and let us know if you find any issues!
Changes on the Way
Thanks to each of you who filled out our survey (we received 199 responses)! We've heard you loud and clear - Gone Raw improvements are in progress.
This week, we are in the midst of optimization and architectural changes (making the site faster and more available).
We also learned that many of you would like to see more pictures of recipes, so we're working away at that piece as well.
