Servings:
Makes approximately 25 balls or 18-20 cookies

My husband actually called these “the bomb”. Takes great and fills the sweet craving we all have sometimes.

Ingredients:

4 ounce Shredded Coconut
1½ tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder
1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
3 ounce Raw Honey

Preparation:

You can make this recipe with no special appliances! Just put ingredients into a bowl and mix well. I have made these 2 times. Once into cookies and once into balls. My 5 year old likes them too.
I admit, I just experiment, so I am guesstimating the actual measurements. Thanks and enjoy!

If you want an almond joy taste, just poke an almond in the center of the balls. They are good with or without them. Plus you can eat them warm in the dehydrator or cold from the fridge.

Good point ambiguous! The first time I made these I put an almond in the center of the balls, but I think I forgot the second time. THat would explain why my husband liked them! LOL. I am going to update the recipe. THanks.

Am I missing almond? Or is this really more like Mounds ;) Love chocolate and coconut together, thanks for the recipe.
Oh, and I'd bet that dates (or apricots or figs) blended with a little water would be a good honey substitute here . . .

whoa. intense....ly amazing! :) I myself prefer things without honey...what if you put some sort of dried fruit in the middle to add that sweetness factor? Like Turkish apricots or prunes or dates? mmmmm.
