Cocoa butter Lucuma Powder Agave syrup
Mix the above ingredients, measurements depend on your tastes and how much you wish to make.
For Dark chocolate substitute the Lucuma Powder for Cocoa Powder.
Oh, and I guess one other option would be maple sugar, which would make a firmer bar than maple syrup. Once again, however, it won't be totally raw.
You might want to try maple syrup, since lucuma has that maple-like flavor. However, the recipe won't be 100% raw anymore.
Also, you can always try mesquite meal, a low-glycemic index sweetener with a hint of chocolate and cinnamon. Good luck!
I order mine online
Anyone know of any lucuma substitutes?
Mmmmm . . . my kind of recipe! Does anyone know where to get lucuma powder in Canada (preferably Vancouver)?
Yeah I do for easier blending then refridgerate to harden
What do you do with the cocoa butter, melt it first? thanks
