I am an ultramarathoner and this smoothie helps me get all of the electrolytes, iron, EFA’s, antioxidants, and protein I need. It’s a lot more science then culinary skill but it’s not too bad.
2 tablespoon Hemp Protein Powder
1 tablespoon Flax Seeds, ground
1 tablespoon Pumpkin Seeds, ground
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 tablespoon Trader Joe's "Green Food"
2 cup Water
1 Banana
- blend flax seeds and pumpkin seeds into a flour in the blender
- add everything else and blend until smooth.
why not just use hemp seeds?

Does anyone use Nutiva's hemp protein powder? Apparently I bought some a while back, so i started using it. I hope hope hope it's raw! If not, what brand do you use?
