Simple, refreshing yet sumptuous semi-freddo recipe inspired by a trip to Milan.
1 large or 1 small avocado
1/2 - 3/4 C seedless frozen grapes
1/2 frozed banana
2 T lemon juice
Optional for added sweetness: a couple of soaked dates or a squirt of agave nectar
Optional: a small sprig of fresh mint + a couple of leaves to garnish
Peel the banana before freezing. I used red grapes, but I'm sure green ones would work too.
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Red grapes leave some flecks which look quite nice.
Serve immediately, or chill in a freezer for 15-30 minutes.
