this is called "i'm not sharing" raw chocolate because my uncle grabbed the plate of chocolates to his chest and said, "i'm not sharing!!!"
1/2 cup raw cacao butter
1/2 cup raw coconut oil
2 tbs raw cacao (in the powder form)
1/4 tsp fresh lemon zest
1/4 tsp freshly grated
nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
small pinch of sea salt
pods from 1/4 vanilla bean
1/4 cup raw agave nectar (or honey) to
taste
1 tbs diced dried cranberries
1 tbs diced raw walnuts
bring cacao butter and coconut butter to liquid state by placing a bowl of hot water under the bowl of butters (think raw double boiler).
add raw cacao, lemon zest, nutmeg, cinnamon, sea salt
srape pods from 1/4 vanilla bean and add to
mixture.
stir in raw agave nectar (or honey) and sweeten to personal taste.
add more sea salt if you would like to bring out the flavors more.
delicately spoon the chocolate mixture into molds (an ice cube tray would make
a great mold).
sprinkle cranberries and walnuts into each individual molds (this recipe will make about 8 chocolates).
freeze for 1/2 hour.
release chocolates from
mold.
eat away. enjoy. guiltlesslly consume. there are lots of anti-oxidants to celebrate with!!
