Tender slices of portabello mushroom soaked in braggs or tamari, apple cider vinager and sesame oil with chopped garlic, ginger and crusted with unhulled sesame seeds. Being like a sponge the portabello will soak up all the flavors!
Tangy, aromatic and nutty flavours combine into an asian taste sensation!
Best of all this recipe takes only 5 minutes prep time (2 hours to marinate though)
4 large Portabello Mushrooms
2 Tablespoons of Sesame oil
2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinager
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 Tablespoon of chopped
ginger
1-2 Tablespoons of tamari or braggs
2 Tablespoons of raw, unhulled sesame seeds
Cut the portabello into strips
Place into a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients then gently massage the mushrooms until they are evenly covered.
Put into the fridge and allow to marinate for 2 hours or more. The longer you leave them the more the flavours will soak into the mushrooms.
Serve as a side or main dish!
