Apple Cinnamon Granola
This is quite a filling breakfast. I like to eat this granola with bananas and almond milk. It is also ideal for travel.
2 cup raw buckwheat groats, soaked 4 to 6 hours (change out water a couple times while soaking)
1 cup raisins (or dates), soaked for 1 hour in 1 cup water
1 apple, diced
1 teaspoon cinamon
pinch any or all of the following: celtic sea salt, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom
- Mix apples and drained buckwheat grouts.
- Place raisins/dates plus soak water in blender with spices and blend well.
- Pour mixture in bowl with apples and buckwheat and mix well.
- Pour onto Teflex-lined dehydrator tray and dehydrate for 8 hours at 115°F (stir granola every couple hours).
