Makes 9 small crackers or 1 rollup

These are tasty snacks modeled after a raw treat I picked up at our local co-op. A great idea for using up the rest of your sunflower pate after making raw lasagna.

Ingredients:

1 nori sheet
3 tablespoon sunflower pate (or any other nut cheese spread)
sprinkle black sesame seeds (optional)

Preparation:
  1. Spread sunflower pate on a nori sheet.
  2. Optional: sprinkle some kind of flavorful addition on top, like black sesame seeds.
  3. Either place in dehydrator as it or roll up.
  4. Dehydrate at 115 For about 6 or 7 hours (until fairly dry). Add an hour or so for roll-ups.

Store in refrigerator.

Oh my goodness, these are great!! I made two nori sheets worth and they ended up needing 5 tablespoons of the pate on each sheet. I must have chunky pate or something :)

Making two sheets was not enough. They really, really shrink up in the dehydrator - down to nearly half their original size. I ate a quarter of the batch just testing to see if they were done. Next time I would make several sheets because they are so addictive!!!

Here is the new link for the sunflower pate:

The links in some of the older recipes are broken, so you may have to 'search' for them:)

Yum, those look awesome. Do you think they'd still be good without dehydrating?

i made something very similar to these before i went on a weekend long yoga excursion in toledo, ohio [i'm from wisconsin..] and they were SOOO good. they packed great, lasted a good amount of time considering i made them ahead of time.. and wow. they just taste so fabulous!
