Chef's Sweet Fussy Balls
This is a perfect way to use up your left over nut pulp from making but milk. Any nut pulp will work.
I named these balls after Chef from South Park and his famous song...and because they have the coconut flakes that makes them fuzzy.
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 Cups of Nut pulp
4 dried medjool dates
4 dried
figs
1/4 cacao powder (optional)
about 1/4 cup dry coconut flakes
Note: These don't come up too sweet..at least to my taste, so add more or less dates or figs as you see fit.
Mix everything in the food processor, except the coconut flakes and blend until smooth but not too much. Make balls and set aside. In a bowl place the coconut flakes and roll each ball until covered. Eat up! Yum!
You can make any variation you wish:
*Make them plain without the cacao
*Without the coconut
flakes
*Roll them in cocoa powder
*Roll them up with grounded pecans, the sky's the limit....

Heh. Just a few minutes ago I made something that I thought to myself might be called "Chef's Chocolate not-so-salty Balls! Mine had coconut in them too. So I guess both of ours could be called Chef's Chocolate Flaky Balls. :-)
