Cream Cheese and 'Jelly' Sandwich

Servings:
Serves 1 Does anyone else remember eating these??/ I was a huge fan as a kid. It’s all out comfort food. The cherries are an eerily delicious match to the cream cheese and make it taste entirely too authentic.
You can find the recipes for the bread and cream cheese on my recipe page.
Ingredients:
2 slice Basic Brown Bread
2 tablespoon Real Cream Cheese
5 dark red sweet cherries, pitted
Preparation:
Spread the cream cheese on one slice of bread and top with the cherries and other slice of bread. Enjoy!

This reminds me of a much, much better version of something I ate at my friends house in the 80's. They always had jelly and creamcheese sanwiches but with this store brand cherry jelly. I must try this! Thanks.

Oh, if you replaced the cherries with cucumber slices you would get those cucumber sandwiches (I read in some play in drama class and we made them on pumperknickel bread)
I was craving those a week ago..
