Curry and Cauliflower
Really fast & easy to prepare. This is my variation of Kate Wood’s Coconut Curry recipe from her book Eat Smart Eat Raw. I have been craving Indian food and this hit the spot.
3 small tomatoes
2 small avacados
2 dates soaked and 2T of the date
water
1 fresh cherry pepper
1 large green onion or about 6 small
2 tablespoon Bragg's Liquid Amino
4 ounce filtered
water
1 tablespoon or 2T garam masala
1 small head or 1/2 head cauliflower
Save the chives from the green onions and cut into bite size pieces. Chop cauliflower into bite sizes pieces. Set chopped ingredients aside. In food processor blend onion bulbs, avacado, tomatoe, Bragg’s, date, water, garam masala, and cherry pepper until smooth. Add sauce to chopped ingredients so they are evenly coated. Garnish with cilantro.

this was a really great dish. it came out a little weird for me, but i think its because i made it weird lol. i added the meat from a young coconut, but i guess i should have taken out the avocado? i also used noma shoyu instead of braggs cuz i didnt know what braggs was. it really does taste awesome with lots of apples and raisins! and i also added a little chopped red bell pepper to the cauliflower... which i made like couscous... and lots of cilantro was good for me too.. yuumm, thanks for the recipe!

This is great. I am lazy, so after processing everything, I threw the cauliflower in the processor too. Then hand mixed the chives in. I cut the recipe in half and it is still a good size.

Bragg's Liquid Aminos, similar to soy sauce.

What a great idea to use cauliflower as a raw "substitute" for rice! I also mixed some sprouted quinoa with the cauliflower for texture. I only had one avocado so I substituted a few spoonfuls of raw tahini (omitting the water), used a shallot instead of the green onion, and I added two cloves of garlic, a jalapeno pepper, cumin, and curry powder 'cause I'm a spice nut.
Thanks so much for this recipe!

I think I shall add raisins and apples to my leftovers... thanks.

I haven't got my daily dose of greens today so I used the curry sauce as a dressing for salad. Added some raisins and apples like my mom puts in her curry and made a meal out of it. Very good! Thanks for the recipe!

Peels from a cucumber, they were a little tough to eat. I hope you enjoy... I did. -J

This recipe looks amazing, I'm definitely going to try it. What's on the bottom? Is that the chives, or the peels from another vegetable?
